The title for this collection was taken from a passage in Olga Tokarczuk's novel ' drive your plow over the bones of the dead'. In the passage she ruminates on the idea that humans think they are divine and rational creatures, but really they are mostly reacting to stimuli from the universe, like a dog guided by smell, we are guided by our perceptions. This is how I think about making art, as a reaction to the external world. I am like a filter, maybe everyone is.
